Mixed media collage abstract painting using papers, stones matted in gray silk matting and framed in a fluted warm oak frame. Contemporary art with soft pastel colors, depict the delicate colors of the light on the western hills.  The thickness of some of the papers also denotes a softness.  Then the collected stones at the bottom serve to ground the image in reality. The frame on this one is a beautiful round front with fluting grooves in the wood, light warm oak with a gray wash over it for lightness.  See additional images for details.
