Overview

The Arizona original is 40 x 30 inches and shows the Palo Verde (called Green Stick, because the branches are green and perform photosynthesis instead of leaves which fall off immediately to prevent water loss). Also various cactus including saguaro, agave, cholla, and organ pipe cactus. The Grand Canyon is depicted in texture paint and acrylic. Pastel and pencil are also used. A large smooth tan and white agate slice is at the lower right. The 72 name at the lower center is hey, resh, yud, Contacting Angels.
